Kyiv Mohyla Business School is virtually a “forge” of new Ukrainian businesses. Every year more than 50 students graduate from the school with MBA degree. Being managers at the time of entering the school some of them become business owners at the time of graduation.

An obligatory condition for receiving the MBA degree is implementing personal ideas of setting up one's own business or developing the existing business. For this purpose during the period of one year and a half students are preparing a detailed business plan (“Master project”). In this endeavour they are assisted by professional consultants - KMBS professors – specializing in strategies, marketing, sales, finances, economics, ТОС, HR etc. Only profoundly developed and successfully implemented projects are accepted for the defence for the MBA degree.

Unfortunately, it often happened in the past that many interesting business projects failed to be implemented due to insufficient investments. “Investment Club” has a mission of assisting novice entrepreneurs. We select most interesting and promising projects and present them to the investment committee. The investment committee is formed from both private and institutional investors (venture & private equity funds). Projects provoking interest in the investment committee receive financing for their further development,.
